About
Free hardening, kept independent
For years, teams leaned on a free catalog of community images and charts for the databases, caches, and brokers they run every day. When the hardened, low-CVE builds moved behind a paid tier and the free catalog was set aside, a lot of that ground was lost.
QuenchWorks rebuilds that ground in the open. It is a catalog of the same kinds of datastores, each compiled from source on Wolfi into a small nonroot image, scanned to zero fixable CVEs, signed, and pinned by digest. Everything is free to use and free to verify.
It is also deliberately independent. The charts are written from each project's own upstream documentation, not adapted from any other vendor, and the images carry our own artwork, not anyone else's trademarks. The point is a clean, honest supply chain you can check yourself.

QuenchWorks brings that same hardening habit to a free, open catalog.
